Matt Cooke still says he is a changed man. Less than a day after the NHL handed the Minnesota Wild forward a seven-game suspension for his knee-on-knee collision with Colorado Avalanche defenceman Tyson Barrie, Cooke reiterated to the media Thursday that he had no intention of hurting his opponent. Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma didn't make any excuses for goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury a day after a stunning 4-3 overtime loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference first-round series. Riding The Pine
Major League Baseball has suspended New York Yankees pitcher Michael Pineda 10 games for the use of pine tar against the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday. Pineda was ejected in the second inning after umpires identified a large smear of tar on the pitcher's neck. Full Story.
