Judge tosses out lawsuit against NCAA over Sandusky sanctions

Former Auburn point guard Varez Ward has been arrested for allegedly trying to fix games. U.S. Attorney George Beck said that Ward was arrested Sunday on counts of bribery relating to a sports contest and conspiracy for allegedly trying to fix the point spread for the Tigers' game against Arkansas on Jan. 25, 2012. Too Many Losses
Gene Stephenson has been fired as head baseball coach at Wichita State after a 36-year career. Athletics director Eric Sexton announced the decision Tuesday, saying it was the "proper time to move into a new phase of Shocker baseball." Full Story.
