Wotherspoon attempts comeback with Canadian Olympic team
Canadian speedskater Jeremy Wotherspoon is making a comeback. Dutch broadcaster NOS reported on its website that the 36-year-old will attempt to represent Canada at next year's Sochi Olympics. Skating Upwards
Dan Thompson, an Olympian in swimming, has been hired as the chief executive officer of Skate Canada. The seven-year veteran of the national swim team made a move into corporate marketing at the conclusion of his competitive career, and was most recently the president of Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, which is dedicated to helping kids participate in sport and recreation.
